TRC recently joined over 500 international companies in exhibiting at the premier launch of The Tire Cologne in Germany. Organised by the Koelnmesse and supported by the BRV, Germany’s tyre trade association, the show attracted over 16,000 visitors from over 100 countries with interests spanning from tyre repair to recycling, remoulding to retreading, as well as an array of automotive services and workshop requirements.
Our team were delighted to be involved in the inaugural show and proudly represented the multitude of brands within the TRC family, including TECH and Truflex/Pang, Salvadori and Pang Industrial.
A key highlight at the TRC stand was the live demonstrations provided by our Technical Trainer, Volodymyr Bagdasaryan. Visitors gathered to watch as Volodymyr presented the extent of tyre repair products available from TECH including the leading Thermacure and Uni-Seal product ranges as well as TECH’s All Purpose patch repairs. The strength and durability of the TECH Permacure range was also a popular attraction as Volodymyr explained its wide range of applications including their suitability for use in the crown of all radial and bias tubeless passenger and truck tyres, as well as the crown, shoulder and sidewall areas of all radial and bias tubeless agricultural, ATV and off-the-road tyres.
The scope of Salvadori’s product offerings also drew visitors to the TRC stand as the team were on hand to discuss the latest developments in retreading tools and machinery, most notably the Salvadori Rubber Extruder Gun, which is used globally on section repairs conducted on commercial truck tyres and off the road (OTR) tyres, as well as in the tyre retreading market. The Tire Cologne was also a great opportunity to discuss the innovations in the tyre recycling sector and share Salvadori’s vision for the future recycling of OTR tyres, along with innovations such as the MT-REX machine for OTR downsizing.
