TECH’s Walter van Loon and Volodymyr Bagdasarian were recently on the move again to conduct another TECH Training seminar! This time they travelled to Münster, Germany to visit the headquarters of Caspar Wrede who boast a significant presence in the German tire trade industry with 11 branches. Additionally, they own “Darley-Wrede” Tire and Auto Service GmbH, which operates 5 “Driver Darley” branches. We are delighted to share that following this training seminar, TECH products will be introduced to all 16 locations!
Joined by their Procurement Manager, Michael Lappe, Walter & Volodymyr met with 14 technicians to introduce TECH’s leading tire repair and retreading materials.
As always, the training included both theoretical training and practical demonstrations of TECH products in line with our safety guidelines and procedures to ensure the safest and highest quality repairs.
With a particular emphasis on Hot Vulcanizing Repair Techniques, the training also covered tips and techniques for the installation of TECH’s Uni-Seal ‘Speed Rated’ Nailhole Repairs (up to 6mm in Y & Z rated passenger tires), as well as Radial Truck Tire Repairs, covering patches from both TECH’s Centech (for chemical cure applications) and Thermacure (for heat cure applications). Following a successful training session, each attendee received a “Tech Tire Repair Specialist” Certificate, valid for one year, authorizing Hot Vulcanization activities.
So, what’s next? We are thrilled with our new partnership with Caspar Wrede and together we look forward to working closely together to support their staff and customers. Our next training session with them will focus on OTR tires as we introduce TECH’s dedicated range of repairs, chemicals and supporting tools.
