TECH, known for setting the global standard for proper tyre & wheel service solutions, expands their European presence with the opening of their new Distribution & Training Centre of Excellence in Turnhout, Belgium. The opening of this new Center of Excellence will serve as TECH’s European, Middle Eastern, and African headquarters.
According to TECH Americas President & Operations Leader, Mike Murray, “This was a strategic move that affords us numerous opportunities to better serve and support our EMEA customer base. Our new Belgium Center of Excellence was designed specifically with a state-of-the-art training facility. As the Tyre & Wheel Authority, we know having the world’s best tyre and wheel service products is only one part of the equation. Training on the proper use of TECH products is equally important.”

Coinciding with the opening of the new facility in Belgium, TECH has tapped automotive industry veteran, Tim Verhaeghe to lead the EMEA Team. Tim has over 25 years of automotive industry experience with firms such as Texaco, Wynn’s, and Syntix. TRC’s CEO, Dan Layne, shared, “We are very excited about the new European Headquarters and our new leadership. Tim brings a wealth of experience and knowledge that will serve him well as he leads our Team in EMEA. We welcome Tim to the Technical Rubber Company family!”
Speaking of his new role, Tim commented, “It is a pleasure to join the TRC group of companies. I consider myself fortunate to have been given this opportunity at such an exciting time with the opening of the new EMEA Facility. Having spent time meeting the TRC team across Europe and the U.S., I look forward to growing the EMEA footprint by working with our network of distributors.”
