Meet Luca Parmesan, our Senior Service Engineer, who played a central role in developing the TECH e-line 685E Extruder Gun. From fine-tuning temperature control to perfecting the design, Luca and his team worked tirelessly to create a tool that truly meets the needs of professionals in the field.
In this interview, Luca shares insights from the development process, highlights key product features, and reflects on his decade-long career with us.
What was your favourite part of developing the e-Line 685e Extruder Gun?
I really enjoyed working on the thermal controller and the new central body design. These were challenging components that required precise engineering and seeing them come together successfully was very rewarding.
Definitely the temperature control system. The e-line 685E keeps the temperature constant and precisely regulated, with the value clearly displayed on the digital screen. This allows users to maintain optimal conditions throughout the repair process.
How will this innovation support professionals in the tire repair and retreading industry?
A stable temperature ensures the rubber melts more efficiently and prevents premature vulcanization. This results in cleaner, more consistent repairs – saving time and improving the quality of the finished product. It’s a big advantage for technicians who depend on precision every day.
What has been the proudest moment of your career so far?
Honestly, I’m proud every day to do a job that I love. Being part of a team that designs tools used around the world and seeing customers satisfied with the results gives me great pride.
Any insights into future product developments?
We’re already working on new ideas and innovations to further support our industry, including new models for the e-line series. The focus is on smarter, more efficient tools that make our customers’ work easier and more productive.
